At the undergraduate level this is part of CS 499 Senior Design. At the graduate level this is part of CS 685 Software Project or CS 695 Computer Science Research.<br /> <br /> Note that students typically take one or two semesters (15 or 30 weeks) to work on their projects. Students taking the courses are typically expected to spend 5-10 hours per week working on their project. Students sometimes work in teams. CS faculty provide oversight with respect to course requirements but typically can offer only limited technical guidance.<br /> <br /> == Submit Project Proposal ==<br /> Outside companies, faculty from other departments, etc. can submit a proposal for a project that they would like assistance with.
